On Saturday 22nd March the Black Caps will play England in the World T20 Cup in Bangladesh.

Since the Poms have been pretty mediocre recently, NZ stands a good chance. -- In fact they won by the D/L method when rain stopped play.

So far Aotearoa has not even made the final. Winners so far:

2007 India -- 2009 Pakistan -- 2010 England -- 2012 W. Indies. NZ and South Africa are the only Top 8 countries not to have made a final.

CLT 20 2014Edit

The Champions League 2020 is being held in India.

The Northern Districts qualified from the preliminary round.

They failed to make the semi-finals, which were of 3 Indian teams + Hobart Hurricanes.

Chennai (ex-Madras) won.

Poms didn't play because their season hadn't finished at the beginning. [Yorkshire won.]

Series in UAE 2014Edit

In November-December 2014, NZ played 3 tests against Pakistan, banned from playing in Pakistan because of terrorist threat.

Pakistan won the 1st Test easily in Abu Dhabi. The 2d test in Abu D. was drawn.

In the 3d Test, NZ crushed Pakistan by more than an innings. Skipper McCullum scored 202 and Williamson 195.

2015Edit

Oz & NZ will jointly host the WCC (World Cricket Cup). Eden Park Auckland/Akarana will host a semi-final. And Wellington a quarter-final.

England ejected in the 1st round.

Semi finals NZ b S.Africa. Oz b. India. Final. NZ 183 Oz 186/3. MCG.

May-June: 5day Test series: England 1 NZ 1.

June: 1day series. In the 3rd match, Kane Williamson [Taranga] made 118 from 113 balls. This led the NZ Herald to hail him as the best NZ batsmen ever at the age of 24.

Series currently 2-1 - to NZ! Huge lamentations from the Poms.
